The CIA and Vampires, a new Vamp Bookstore

What if the following departments were tasked with developing an organizational response to the imminent public declaration of the existence of vampires?
  • Department of Justice
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation
  • Central Intelligence Agency
  • Department of Defense
  • Department of Homeland Security
  • Department of State
  • Department of Health and Human Services
The results are interesting.  Read more at this blog.

Here's a new online bookstore (operated in Australia) dedicated to paranormal romance — FANGtastic Fiction.

What an interesting read, unusual idea thought processes regarding the usefulness of Vampires to our culture.

Great place wish they hadn't have stolen my fangtastic name (Of course mine has the hyphen Fang-tastic).

I guess I should have trademarked it, but would that even matter considering they are in another country?

Is the whole trademark, copyright thing just US or international? Hmmm...

Yes, I was bummed about them using your name too. But I wonder if that falls under 'Titles' and titles are not copyrightable at all. That's why we have books that share titles a lot.

Umm guys, sorry, there's no conspiracy over the name! This is just a case of people with a common love for paranormal romance and urban fantasy having a similar bright idea ...without knowing that each other existed!
However the world is big and hopefully our mutual love for the genre even bigger.
All the best from fangtasticfiction in Australia/New Zealand!
