Second? What happened to her first? And...Shakespeare Undead!

Out today in bookstores and online everywhere!  THE SHORT SECOND LIFE OF BREE TANNER by Stephenie Meyer.  If you're a Twihard I suspect you've probably already snatched up a copy of this book.

Fans of The Twilight Saga will be enthralled by this riveting story of Bree Tanner, a character first introduced in Eclipse, and the darker side of the newborn vampire world she inhabits. In another irresistible combination of danger, mystery, and romance, Stephenie Meyer tells the devastating story of Bree and the newborn army as they prepare to close in on Bella Swan and the Cullens, following their encounter to its unforgettable conclusion.

TwiFans will want to keep the Twilight Lexicon on their blogcrawl.

And do you have the Twilight Barbie dolls?  Or do they call them action figures?

What about the lifesize cut-out of Jacob available from Nordstroms?

I'm not a Twihard, but I think I could slide my mouse across this mouse pad every day.  I didn't realize Edward was so buff.  Guess I couldn't get past the pasty white skin. Hmm...nice.

Happy Another Twilight Story From Stephenie Meyer release day!

I don't know how I missed this one.  Next Tuesday SHAKESPEARE UNDEAD by Lori Handeland is released.  Here's the blurb:

Something wicked this way comes . . . and it keeps coming and coming and coming. . . .

William Shakespeare was one of history’s greatest writers, a master of words with a body of work that is truly impressive . . . some may say a little too impressive for a single man to accomplish in one lifetime. Perhaps, as many have speculated, he had assistance. Or perhaps the explanation is more . . . unusual.
Who was William Shakespeare?
Who was the Dark Lady of the Sonnets?
Why are the undead stalking the alleyways of London?
And can they be stopped?
Something is definitely rotten in the state of Denmark.
So brace yourself for a wild ride through twisted streets and shadowed graveyards of Elizabethan London, where you’ll discover how the Bard got his Bite.

Also, just had to note, last night Anamika Veeramani won the Scripps National Spelling Bee with the word: strohmuhr.  Here's the definition: a rheometer designed to measure the amount and speed of blood flow through an artery  We vampire lovers love that.  :-)

Be sure to stop by all next week because we're talking DEMONS!  We'll feature various authors through the week and some will be giving away books.  You can't miss a day!
