Win a copy of Kenyon's NO MERCY!

The publishers of Sherrilyn Kenyon's NO MERCY have generously offered a copy of her book to VampChix to give away!  Just leave a comment below, and tell us about your sanctuary!

NO MERCY from New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon, debuts on September 7. This thrilling and imaginative new book in her acclaimed Dark-Hunter series will delight hard-core Kenyon fans.

Many a Kenyon fan has said that they have found sanctuary in her books throughout the years. Her fans also know about The Sanctuary, the fictional New Orleans bar in the Dark-Hunter world. Avid readers will often say that books provide a great retreat…that the release of a new book from a favorite author can make one’s day…that there’s nothing better than suspending disbelief and allowing oneself to sink into a storyline or a fantasy world.

We want to know from your readers, what’s their sanctuary? Perhaps it’s playing Rock Band on Xbox or settling into an episode of Star Trek. Perhaps you love spin class or heading to the park to sketch.

No Mercy blurb:
Live fast, fight hard and if you have to die then take as many of your enemies with you as you can. That is the Amazon credo and it was one Samia lived and died by. Now in contemporary New Orleans, the immortal Amazon warrior is about to learn that there’s a worse evil coming to slaughter mankind than she’s ever faced before.

Shapeshifter Dev Peltier has stood guard at the front of Sanctuary for almost two hundred years and in that time, he’s seen it all. Or so he thought. Now their enemies have discovered a new source of power- one that makes a mockery of anything faced to date.

The war is on and Dev and Sam are guarding ground zero. But in order to win, they will have to break the most cardinal of all rules and pray it doesn’t unravel the universe as we know it.

[Enter contest through Friday 10th. Winner announced on Saturday!]

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon, she is an amazing writer and really knows her characters. If you haven't read her, do it and you will be hook!

My sancutary. Most would think it would be writing, and maybe it should be. As well as reading because its something I love to do and will do to "get away", but hiding in my room with the lights off, beneath my covers has been my sanctuary since I was little. lol.

My sactuary is painting. Not houses, silly. I will paint canvas, furniture whatever isn't nailed down. It soothes me and takes me away from the stresses of everyday.

My sanctuary is in my room laying in my bed alone with thoughts and a great book to read and no pressure.

My sanctuary would have to be my room especially when I can curl up on my bed with a great book (or e reader) and not be bothered by the phone, next meal or any other distraction that usually occurs in our every day lives. Preferably when its nice and breezy outside as well. A cool crisp breeze, curled up in my bed laying on top on a fluffy comforter reading a great book.

My sanctuary is my office, with my desk and computer, surrounded by my books and some of the things I've collected over the years. It's just my favorite place in my house and where I spend the most time.

My sanctuary is my perennial garden in the front lawn. It's huge and reminds one of a fairy garden. I could live there.

My sanctuary is escaping to the back yard with the ipod and a high energy playlist and I spin my POI balls around and around for 15 minutes or until my arms hurt. The kids know to keep back then ;)

My sanctuary is my office/library. I like sitting in front of the window on a sunny day reading a book. In the winter I start the fireplace and it gets nice and toasty in there. It almost feels like you're being covered with a blanket just by sitting there, it's so relaxing and almost lulls you to sleep.
