Guest: Annie Nicholas

Please welcome Annie Nicholas to the hot seat today.  She has an ecopy of either THE OMEGAS or THE ALPHA to give away to one lucky commenter!

Forgive and Forget, I think?

We’re taught at a young age to forgive those who’ve wronged us and have probably passed this on to our children. “Say you’re sorry.” Is a common thing we teach but when on the receiving end it can be difficult to forgive.

Betrayal has many faces and lying is one of them. This is a huge pet peeve of mine and I consider withholding information as lying to.  Duplicity places a big role in my new book, The Beta Book 3 of The Vanguards series. I wanted my hero to be forgiving as I’d been taught, but that just didn’t happen. Characters are not always the extension of the writer but my hero and I shared the same temperament when duped.

How forgiving are you?

I’ll be choosing a commenter to win an ecopy of either The Omegas or The Alpha.

Blurb:

Three days of hell, in charge, and running out of antacids.

As the pack’s Beta, Robert needs to watch over the Vasi werewolf pack for a few days. He hates the responsibility, but his job is to dissolve any problems while his alpha honeymoons. Nevertheless, trouble comes to town and her name is Esther. She's beguiling, beautiful and picks his pocket. Although Robert doesn’t trust her, he still wants to possess her.

Esther arrived in Chicago with the intention of slaying a vampire named Daedalus. While trailing her quarry, she encounters Robert who unhinges her world. He doesn’t know her trade, and she doesn’t know his connection to the vampire. Disturbed by her attraction to this unusual werewolf, she can’t decide which prey to hunt. The one who’s stolen her heart or the one who’ll fill her bank account.

Hot graphic werewolf sex, growing body parts, and one pissed off Nosferatu.

Honestly I'm not very forgiving. I never give someone a chance to hurt me or wrong me a second time. I realize this is a fault and I have tried to learn to be more forgiving.

Thanks for the great giveaway. I love paranormal romance!

The tag line alone makes me want to read this book. Add in the blurb and cover - this looks really good!

This sounds like a great book.
When I was younger it was hard for me to forgive. But as I've gotten older I just don't see the reason to be like that anymore.
