I was fortunate enough to have started this series here on the blog when I reviewed Angel of Darkness, and then I picked it up again for RT Book Reviews Magazine starting with Angel in Chains (book 3). My review for Avenging Angel will appear in the June issue of RT magazine.
My honest opinion is that this series is awesome, and Avenging Angel is my favorite to date. I've recommended this series to my friends many times and I always know that when she has a new book out it will be worth my time and money. Cynthia Eden does a masterful job of creating a new and exciting lore for her Fallen angels, and when a lot of authors make the mistake of becoming too complicated, Eden nails it, keeping her angels deep within the world she has created with no tricky rule changes, no continuity problems, and no drastic character changes. She sets up her people and gives them a fast paced story along with an emotional romance, and every book gets a happily ever after. I like that.
So if you're looking for a good paranormal that combines romance and action, this is the book (and series) for you. Avenging Angel is out today, folks, so go forth and raid the shelves, and I wish you all happy reading!
