Now, let's get back to Star Wars, shall we? So, John Jackson Miller is set to write the first new book, titled Star Wars: A New Dawn and tells the backstory of how two characters, Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla, meet. Then we will have Tarkin and then finally, Kevin Hearne will write Heir to the Jedi which, according to his site, will be set between episodes IV and V, all being told from Luke Skywalker's first person POV. Wow! I'm not always the best at reading science fiction or stuff set in the Star Wars Universe (sooooo many options), although once upon a time, I did enjoy The Tales of the Bounty Hunter series, I do plan on reading these new ones for two primary reasons 1) because I was sad when the Clone Wars cartoon was cancelled, and 2) it's about time some new talent (Hearne) was given a chance to write in such a vast and creative world. This is a surefire way to have Luke be more badass and less whiny Jedi, which is awesome.
